Mission Complete

Today I met up with Marquie to finish up the last part of my tasks in Navere. I had Marquie pretend to be in labor and as the head priestess (my disguise) I took her into the temple of Lolth to help her. I got to the high priestess' rooms alright and was just getting ready to search for Valkryn's weapons wehn someone jumped out and attacked me.

It was one of the under priestesses and she seemed bent on murdering me, or rather who I was disguised as. Luckily Marquie caught up with me and after taking a dart in the shoulder and a kick or two we got her down. She cursed us and mentioned that she was doing this for Gia, at which point I revealed myself and told her I worked for Gia as well while Mar say on her to keep her from murdering us.

In the end we compromised. I gave her the priestess disguise and cast a spell to make her look like her rival, and she helped me find Valkryn's weaponry to take back to Gia. With that Mar and I left and Marquie went off to find some other adventure. I found Eclipse in my room waiting for me and we fought a little and just played around. Eclipse even let me hug her and climb up in her lap, so apparently she isnt quite as cold as Star.

We fell asleep after a while and I woke up to Marquie popping in to visit. Over the course of our talk Marquie revealed that she's killed people again thanks to Zodiac's death and I'm tiring of this game. Marquie and Siona's answer to all their problems seems to be slaughtering innocents and I'm going to put a stop to it. I bound Marquie's powers tonight so she can't do it again. Siona I'm not sure about, I havnt heard from her. She was supposed to help me during this mission.

Marquie seems so hurt, but also so dangerous. I know shes still my little sister but shes also a murderer many times over... I can't understand how those two sides can reconsile. I cried and got drunk when my mom was killed, I didn't go out and slaughter randomly... I just wish I could understand... Until then I'm going to do my best to keep her safe from herself and keep the world safe from her. I only hope in time she can find redemption.
