Visus has been active the last couple of days. That's the best summary I've ever had for such an interesting period, but its' quite true. To start off with Sydel came by and started playing with me. She got me all nakeded up and we cuddled. It was really pretty nice. Interestignly enough she mentioned how she couldnt seem to kill me, and really I don't think she wants to. I'm glad for that, I can tell you.

She has no problem hurting me though. She bit into me and drank a bit, and I just held her. It was really quite nice until I heard a light rapping on the door. It was Visus and there I was naked and covered in blood with a baby eating witch. Some babysitter I was! I had to think fast, so I poofed Sydel and myself into pajamas and then went to open the door. I'd grossly underestimated my nephew.

Sydel positively refused to wear the pajamas, instead tearing at them til they were like a fluffy flannel bikini. Visus didnt even mind, and I guess considering how Ali dresses sometimes he's used to it. He also noticed the blood and soon figured we'd only just gotten dressed. He picked up a load of flowers he'd brought in (He had been looking kind of down with nothing to do, so I told him that every night he should get fresh flowers for his moms room so it'd look good when she came back)

He stormed off soon after saying we didnt want him there. I guess he thought we meant to... you know, do it... Sydel, though she was friendly to him, didnt try to dispel that misconception. I left and found him in his mom's room, holding onto one of her shirts. He wasnt crying because me and Sydel hadnt had time for him, he was crying cuz he felt that his mom didn't. I tried to put him to bed in his room but he threw a tantrum, so I ended up tucking him in in his mom's bed... Poor kid. Anyhow once he was settled down and asleep I went back to find Sydel reading my diary, so we fought over it for a while. She mentioned something, I think abotu how I'd read her thoughts in the past, so eventually I calmed down and just let her read it.

It wasn't long after that that I decided to find his mother and drag her back here if I have to. Sending him off on his own to wander around at his age wasnt bad, he might have been ok, but leaving him this long without any word definately wasn't nice...

So today I planned to tell him, but I had to go see Gia for her common writing lesson. She was having a new outfit made to replace her more militant older style, and it did look pretty good. I moved in and had the seamstresses leave a written bill, which I'd pay. I got Gia to try to read it while i healed an old wound to her ear. She read the word skirt in common, the first word of common she'd ever read. I was quite proud of that. We talked of Visus and she finally relented and admitted that she should try to be nice to him regardless of her feelings for his mom.

She'd get the chance sooner than we thought. We went out for a walk and found Visus sitting on a rock, sulking over his mom. I went and talked to him and Gia soon joined in. I'm not sure how it happened, but it didnt take long for Vis to make friends with Gia and take her side in teasing me about Sydel. And in another few moments I was chasing him in circles around her as we both laughed.

I told him somethign Gia had told me, that she wasnt the one who'd had him kidnapped, that Valkryn had done it on his own. And Gia told him about my plan to get him back to his mother. I think that was the happiest I've ever made someone, he was bouncing all over the place and nearly pounced me to death. Cute kid.

It started to rain soon and I made fun of Gia for being such a girl. This proved to be a mistake because wehn Vis and I got back inside and I had some hot cocoa, she tugged the rug from under me and I ended up wearing it. He laughed at me and I yelled at him playfully for taking his aunt's side, tossing some of the cocoa at him.

Naturally Gia put a stop to it and ordered us both to get baths before heading upstairs to organize our dooms. Visus and I planned gow to get his mother and he decided to be helpful and asked me to get her stuff gathered as he'd somehow gotten the idea they were moving (Gia and I havnt told him yet his mum and dad split up, I haven't the heart to do it)

I thought it might be fun so I cast a spell to make him a small sized giant and let him move all the stuff on his own. Unfortunately after that he fell right to sleep. Gia and I put him to bed and then shbe had me get my bath. We talked for a while after she made sure I was clean and it was a pretty nice time. It was good to see her actually having fun and enjoying her family.
