Lolth, you whorebeast

So, where to begin. I led Athena and Oregen to the cave where Valkryn had last been seen. It was incredinly well guarded all of a sudden and no magic could penetrate within. Definately a trap. And since we only had three people to go in (Jules had sent Angel along but she just sat outside) I decided to clal it off and just cast an observation spell around the mouth of the cave to try to catch whoever was guarding Valkryn since they'd have to leave sometime.

I went to my tower to cast it only to have Siona contact me once I was done. She'd seen Valkryn. I rushed to her side and she was weirder than usual. She insisted on going after Valkryn alone and ordered me to guard Gia. I told her she was crazy and that she couldnt fight Valkryn since she loved him too much. The general consensus at this point was that he'd been taken over by Lolth.

She just kept being a bitch and finally I told her I was done pretending to listen to her and walked off. I wanted to seek out Xavier and tell her what had happened. I found her with Marmar laying on the ground. Valkryn had attackjed Marquie but apparently he'd been unable to hurt her. Mosti mportantly he'd made reference to his MIstrress, so it was surely Lolth who took him.

Marquie was fine and we talked for a while even though Siona popped up and started being a dork again. I mentioned everything I knew to Xavier and she went off for a walk.

I decided I needed more information on what Lolth was up to so I headed to an Elistraeen town that housed refugees from Menzobaranzan. Perhaps they'd heard something. What I found was that Lolth was demanding all her followers to find Valkryn and bring him back. Lolth hadnt dont it after all, it was someone else, another goddess poerhaps, surely not many mortals could have done such.

I headed back to the castle and hung out with Zarra, my drow ranger friend, and Holly. Then Ali showed up. I tried to tell her about Valkryn but she was in one of her moods and all I got was a dagger thrown at me which I barely deflected.

What a day..

Meeting Ament

So I'm still spending some of my time around Carrie's time and place and it's really a whole lot of fun. Carrie's nice and I've been meeting others lately. Ament is a very old and umm... sensual vampiress. She decided I'd be fun to feed from and naturally I let her, or I would have. Another chosen of Mystra showed up. I spoke with him briefly and he seemed interesting but snobby, and then he yelled at Ament.

He was all "rar" and I was all "fuck off" and then I stormed off. The next day I finally got some time alone with Ament and she did get to feed from me. It really was quite enjoyable and I lost myself somewhere in the kiss. I was just floating happily in Aments arms and then Doom, the other chosen, popped up and shot her with a lightening bolt just to be a dick.

As soon as I recovered my seses I got to my feet and we argued for a bit, he said some nonsense about her trying to steal my powers, but it seemed Ament had fed from him too. Perhaps I was being jealopus, or more likely he was. Regardless, he's still a great big dick.

Clearance

I talked to Jelia. She's easy enough to deal with when you realize she's a drow and not a human. She became queen of Dragonshire since Diedre can never show up, and so I worked it out with her that she'd clear my name if I rescued Valkryn. I was going to anyhow so it's a win win situation. As long as I survive...

Yochlol? Selvetarm? Porn star?

I've had a pretty interesting day. I finished all the preperations for the capture of Lolth, putting a binding circle into a massive carpet and allowing a house in Menzobaranzan to steal said carpet to put in their chapel. Then it was back to my tower to find Valkryn so Ali can open the portal for Valkryn while we try to capture Lolth.

I asked Siona to help since it'll take the two of us to get past Lolth's defenses. She was her usually bitchy self so I gave up. It was silly to try to do it on my own but I had to. Valkryn had brought my mom back to life and he made Siona not so evil, and besides he isnt all that bad.

Anyhow I used some of the blood I wrung out of my cloak the night of his apparent death as a spell component and I did indeed find him. He wasn't in the demonweb pits though, he was in sanctuary in a cave with a lot of strange runes in it and he was tied up in a cauldron of blood.

Unfortuantely my scrying had covered all the planes, and that attracted attention. A drow named kaylen I think, with fangs, popped up despite my wards. I tried to explain the scrying as searching for a date. He offered to bring up a half drow succubus and described what I might do with her in very great detail until I vomited, literally.

While I was busy horking he tried to teleport me to the demonweb pits and I had to leap off the tower and hang on to the edge to dodge the portal. A pretty impressive battle ensued, and I might not have made it if he hadn't snatched up my staff and been zapped by it. Anyhow, he ran off after letting forthg some kind of major slaying spell, which I countered with silverfire.

Siona appeared along with some quiet watchy type guy. Siona came onto him and he ran away. Then I traded the information of where Valkryn was to Siona in return for a hug. She's determined to rush in and save him, but I want to wait until we have more help. Maybe send in some goblins first like the drow do. Wiht all the runes in the cave nad Valkrynb conveniantly on the material plane unguarded... It's just too easy.
