Alice's end and trouble in the forrest

So I was in London today and things finally came to a head. Carrie was sitting on the couch when I found her, apparently having forgotten all about her baby, either through memory repression or someones magics. Either way I was glad to see her somewhat calm and happy. We sat together and talked for a while and snuggled. For a vampire Carrie is really affectionate and nurturing, she even invited me to join her family. I think I might.

It wasnt all good stuff though. She soon showed me a letter from her daughter Jerusha saying she'd gone to fight Alice. I wanted to go find her and help but Carrie calmed me down and we all ended up sitting and tryin to keep calm. Weird stuff started happening, especially to the vampires around me. I felt so powerless when all I could do was take Carrie up to bed and curl up in her room hoping for the best. I surely wasnt going to stay in the hall, Micah was there nad he was ok, but so was this weird vampire who I met hiding under teh couch. Her name is Lady of the Couch.

I showed up in Aonach later and began to do some practicing with my sword after my nap. I was exhausted by the time I was done but I felt magic, druidic magic, being cast and rushed to see what was happening. Lazarus was being attacked and I did my best to stop the roots that were catching at his feet. When he got free he attacked me and I woke up in the branches of a tree a good distance off.

Him and some girl he was with claimed I'd attacked them which is just silly and then Starshine showed up and she said if I'd attacked them she'd hold me while they beat me up. I was so angry at her taking their side and trying to grab ahold of me that I tried to zap her with a lightening bolt, though I couldnt cast as tired as I was from my training. I yelled at them all and stalked off towards the mansion so I could tell Xavier.

She was in a bad mood over some family matters involving Lani and I tried not to pay attention cuz it sounded personal. Instead mom dragged me into the healing room after I told Xav what happened. My misery wasnt over as I had to get a bath, but I was just too tired to escape. Eventually mom let me out of the healing rooms and got me some clean clothes to wear and we went out to sit together. She said if I said one word and got involved in whatever was happening she'd make me sit still for two weeks, so needless to say I was pretty quiet as I sat with mom and her friend Chaos.

After a while I got to talk to Xav and Laz made his argument, saying he knew I hadnt attacked him but that I'd yelled at him and threatened him afterwards, as if he dosnt do that to me all the time. I pointed that out and Xavier just said she wouldnt worry about it if I went out and found the thing that had impersonated me and attacked Laz before I arrived.

I thought I had it cornered when a guard came saying they'd found a witch in town and needed my help. I took my leave and scurried to the village even though I had no spells prepared. Instead of a witch I found a slightly injured Starshine wielding a broomstick at some guards. Me and Tailz who had come along helped get the guards off her. Well, I did... Once she saw reinforcements were around both her and Tailz started yelling insults at the guards and they formed up around a rogue, a magicless mage and an injured woman. Luckily Star shifted to her dragon form and flew us all away.

We landed at the mansion and Tailz wandered off. I talked with Star about her problewms with her mate wanting kids (what is it with guys and kids? They never stick around to raise them half the time...) and I told her she shouldnt be pushed into anything like SOME people had been by certain creepy old men who need to die.

Star seemed to be feeling a lot better and I put some jeweled berettes in ehr hair and stuff and then she went off back to Dragonshire. I wandered into the hall only to be felled by a dart from Tailz that put me to sleep rather quickly.

Blurghle!

So, quick recap. Today I saw my mom and shed been attacked but wouldnt tell me who did it. I had to give her back the medicine I got from Athena. I kept trying to get mom to say who'd hurt her but she wouldn't. She got kind of mad and I ended up hiding. Then Ali and Laz appareared and mom gave Ali some of the medicine. I'm not too worried about that, I dont think she'd use it.

I got to see Xavier and one of her daughters Victoria, who is a healer and takes after her sister Grace a little bit. Ali hung around and I almost fell asleep on her except that she prodded me off her iwth a dagger. Xavier got some kind of girly gift from my mom. I was worried it might be the medicine for a bit but I'm hoping it isnt. I still cant find anyone to help me make an antidote for the stuff.

Kill Zo.

So, long story short Mar's kid from the future came back and revealed that Zodiac is still alive in some way. I had to tell Mar cuz I cant lie to her and so she went being the silly girl she is, and brought him fully back to life nearly killing herself in the process. So I went to Ambri and started breaking in trying to kill him. I took down a few of their palace guards and stuff but after a while I got tired of trying to find where the creepy old man was and gave up.

Then I went to see Siona about this medicine I borrowed from mom and Athena but being a meany face she refused to help find an antidote and stoll some giant skin oil I had around. I'll get it back using a spell I have though. At least I hope so. Anyhow Siona's mean but she does like my idea for capturing an avatar of Lolth. I'll have to work on it.

Thus Came Grandma

Lots has happened in the past day so I guess I'd better spill it. I met my grandmother while I was trying to help people in future London. She just seemed to be wandering aimlessly. Turns out she was kinda hit hard when mom died and she'd never yet found out mom was alive again. So I helped her out and took her home with me to find mom. She seemed really confused, not at all like I remember her.

I took her to the manor in Aonach where mom likes to hang out sometime with her non-boyfriend, Laz. Xavier actually allowed me in which was nice and after making the introductions I told Xavier about Navere and she said I could come and hang out in Aonach and even have my old room back in the dungeons.

Unfortuantely I made the mistake of mentioning that Valkryn was still alive and had been caught by Lolth. She cried and called out for Laz, with whom Foxxy was with. Laz saw to her and I ended up feeling really bad for Xavier while I watched my mom and her mom reunite. Grandma seemed to get better almost immediately upon seeing her.

The party soon broke up and I went down to sleep. I saw Eclipse in the dungeons and we got to talk. She said she looks at me like a son and she laughed at what Star had suggested about her thoughts for me. She's really sweet and hopefully now that I'm allowed in Aonach we'll get to see more of eachother.

Ali Cocoa rocks!

I bugged Star a bit today, but thankfully got out of a bath. She said she'd just make Eclipse give me one later. She can be mean but she wasnt that bad today. I got caught in a trap in the forrest the dumb guards had set to capture anyone wandering in the forrest, for some reason, and Star cut me down and then helped make sure I wasnt bruised or scraped up too bad.

Then I went down to Ali's house in teh underdark and she was in a really good mood too. Visus was asleep and she was cooking something. I tried to peek in but she put her hand over the pot and got a nasty burn. I'd have whapped her but I guess after all she's been through plus giving birth she's used to pain, and she was able to heal it too.

Finally she revealed what she'd been cooking. It was LIKE hot cocoa in the same way that wine is like scotch. This stuff was more the consistency of chocolate syrup. Best cocoa I ever had. Me and Ali both made horrible messes of ourselves and got sticky and chocolatey, but somehow she got sleepy and I just plopped her in bed. The bad part about getting me all hyper is I got Visus duty. I think she planned it like that.

So I just hung out in his room and naturally he woke up a while after I came in. We played with some blocks, which got chewed on and then he played with my hat, which got chewed on, so I just made him one of his own. Which got chewed on. I'm sure Ali will be happy about his new hat.

He went to bed after a while and I ended up reading my spell books. Around some time in the morning I was still bouncing around from the cocoa and he was waking up rather cranky and smelling weird, so I gave him a bottle of chocolate milk and ported him to Ali's room.

I wonder how much she'll pay me for babysitting.

Infiltration... Unsuccessful

Today was the day that I finally decided to attempt to sneak into Siona's tower. I got Bret to bring in a pre-cast portal that he could stertch out to let me through and then I set out to find Siona and distract her while he got in. I found Jas first. Jasmyn used to look after me back when I first came to Dragonshire but then she disappeared and thankfully my mom came back, so we'd naturally kind of grown apart.

She seemed a lot meaner and much more in touch with the shadow magic and stuff now. Siona appeared during our reunion and mouthed off like usual. She demanded that I lick her boots just to be mean and we got into our usual fight, but I was enjoying it since it was buyying time for Bret. Just after she left I felt the portal open and hurried through.

Unfortunately as soon as I made it through the room I ported into blew up in a big cloud of dust but neither of us was hurt. Bret ran off to get his reward and then I found Siona in Navere's courtyard. She seemed a lot calmer so that was good.

I finally got to tell her how well Mar is doing and all that but she didnt seem as happy as I'd hoped. I thought she was still sad about Valkryn and said so but she got all pushy. Then she started back threatening to leave if I dint lick her boots. She said some nonsense about trying to teach me a lesson. I just muttered I didnt think this was what she was teaching Braith, but I did do it just to keep her from leaving. I kinda like her company...

After a while she called me a bad apprentice and I called her a bad teacher and she scurried off, though I know she'll return soon. I still need to get some cuddles out of her. After that I went back to my tower and found Eclipse. I snuggled up with her for a while and she fed me cookies and joked about giving me a bath and then her sister Star appeared.

Star got all mad and Eclipse hurried me away from her on the excuse that I needed a bath. For once I wasn't that sad about getting one. We headed back downstairs and Star mumbled some insanity about how Eclipse wanted a child and was searching for ways to get one. Eclipse got mad and ran off and I talked to Star to find out what was up. She didn't see it as Eclipse mothering me. She saw it as Eclipse wanting me to make her a mother!

I could only laugh when Star told me to come get her if Eclipse made any advances on me. I explained the matter and Star made me promise not to say anything. I promised not to mention that she thought Eclipse might rape me, though I didnt make any such promises about anything else.

I went to see Ali at her house in the underdark after Star left and bugged her for a bit. Visus is getting big and she showed me how to burp him today. He still only wants to talk telepathicly though so we're both trying to work on that. Ali was in a better mood today (thank Mystra!) but still tired. She ended up passing out and I carried her and Visus to their beds.
