another good deed

I hung out with Imoen for a while today and then Grace and Briteny picked on me for a long time, dressing me up and tickling me and making me take a nap and all sorts of horrible things.

After chasing Brit around in vengeance for a while I landed at the river and found some demon lady trying to poison it. I stopped her and she ran off and then I found Imoen again. We notified the highland armies and then she decided to give me a lesson.

I asked to learn a reeally big spell but Imoen said she'd have ot teach me a lot before that even though I already know a few. I had to give her a list of all my spells which was kinda weird cuz I've never done that, but I knew I could trust her.

We talked a while longer til she went off to go to sleep and I decided to do the same.

Intrigue and stuff

Today I met Nikolai, the exiled prince of Kielder. I'd seen him before occasionally but never did he seem so cruel. At first he was fine, we chatted with Porsha and then they went off together. When I next saw him he had gone to the village and Imoen was saying some stuff to him in a less than friendly tone.

I tried to help but neither of them seemed to want me there so I went to sit atop my tower and pout. However I got something that made me feel a lot better. I found the fifty thousand gold piece note the queen had promised me and immediately decided to put some of it to use to build a spiral slide down the length of my tower so I'll have a fun way to get down.

With this in mind I went to the village blacksmith and got a good metal to use and then went to see if Nikolai was ok.

It turned out Imoen had forbidden him from going back to Kielder and so I decided I'd try to help him. We made up several plans and he sounded as though he wanted to kill Imoen and any who got in his way. How he came from Nic I have no idea. He soon took his leave after I told him I'd have no part in bloodshed, but I still planned to oppose my teacher.

I went to tell Imoen this but she talked sense to me in that way she does that makes it very difficult to stand against her, and I was soon hugging her and promising to cooperate. She dosnt want to keep Nikolai from his home, she only wants to let things calm down so he can return safely. I guess there might be something to that talk about adults being smart, even if waiting is kinda boring.

A death

today I hung around Imoen and all of a sudden that evil Nanaco person burst in the hall. Imoen and I both started fighting her and we did really well. Me and Imoen didnt get hurt at all although I did acccidentally blow a hole in the castle wall. Nanaco all of a sudden just impaled herself on her sword and I tried to stop her but I couldnt.

I pulled the swordo ut of her but it was too late. Imoen and I went back into the hall and I tried to make sure everyone was ok before taking a nap to replenish my magic after the fight. Imoen said I did really well and that made me feel great.

Another great day

I really have to thank Mystra for giving me such a great life. Imoen is around, the countryside is largely peaceful, Marquie and Ariel are off having fun, and best of all I get to hang out with my family and enjoy myself.

I played with mom and my sister Marlee today for a while and then went out to see Rosa while my parents talked. Rosa seems worried because the elder dragons want her to be harder on me and they think she's not doing a good job as my guardian. I told her she was doing great even though she did make me take a nap and almost tossed me in the river for a bath.

Then Cinder came around and she was as odd as ever but her and Rosa talked a lot especially during my nap. When I woke up Cinder was gone and I took Rosa to see my tower and my horde that I sleep on sometime when I'm feeling draconic. Then mom came and made me take a bath so now I smell like a strawberry but it wasnt that bad and I'm really glad to have people around that care about me who I love. Well thats about all for today.

Fires

I came downstairs to see a glow out hte windows and Imoen told me the village was on fire. We both rushed off to help and it was apparently deliberate, someone had sealed the village magically trying to kill everyone in the fires. Imoen went into the village to help the villagers and I moved to my tower, casting a rain spell and using my power there to make it even stronger. Unfortuantely the fires were magical and so I had to port to the town and try to do what I could.

Luckily Imoen knew how to put them out and she saved the day. We spent the rest of the night organizing the villagers (thank Mystra all of them survived!) and getting them to safety. I thanked Imoen for her help and stuff because I was really glad she had been ther since it might have been worse without her. I guess I still have a lot to learn and a lot of growing up to do, so its good to know shes around to help.

Talking with Imoen

I saw Imeon again today and I told her I got adopted and she was really happy for me, and she told me to never forget Foxxy and to take a bath. I said I would never do either and laughed. She took me and my adoptive sister to a lake and I pretty much had to get a bath just cuz she wanted me to and I always end up doing what she says.

I scrubbed up and even washed behind my ears before getting dressed again and going to sit with her. I think I'm finally starting to understand about Imoen now. She said she often feels like shes my teacher or nurse. I told her I'd gladly accept anything she could teach me, aand even admitted shes maybe just a little wiser than I am. I told her I always admired her and Velrik though I couldnt get it out right.

The truth of it is her and Velrik are both really powerful and smart, I kinda wanted to be like them since they're such great adventurers, so I tried to always say and do what I thought was right, and we did fight a lot but only because I wanted Ariel to be happy and have as free a life as we'd always lived. It always bugged me when we got in fights because I wanted their approval so bad, and I guess I kind of figured I'd have to fight for it.

Well anyhow she still had to ask me not to look up at her and thats the way I figure she is. Good people are always modest and they feel that they don't do enough. Imoen is always putting herself down but everyone else knows shes a real hero, unlike me.

She eventualyl had to go home but while she was getting ready to leave she said I could be more than I gave myself credit for. I asked her what she meant and she told me to just keep striving to be better. I told her I would do that with her guidance and hugged her before she hopped on her really cool magical horse and left. I went out to my tower afterwards to sudy some spell books.

A lot happening now

I met a really nice lady named Jazmyn and her husband Devlyn and we became really good friends. Grace was picking on Jazmyn and me and I made her stop and then Jazmyn held me on her lap and we talked for a while. Then I found IMoen and pounced on her and she and I talked for a while and she was feeling really down but me and Blue made her feel a lot better. She was just sad about a lot of things, like how my mom died and how she thought she didnt measure up to Velrik.

I think she's as much a hero as anyone in her own way and I tried to tell her so. I always kind of admired Imoen even when we were fighting over Ariel just because she's so kind and patient, even with me. And she has her own kind of strength too. I did my best to tell her how much she means to me and how glad I am to have her and I managed to make her smile. I was really glad to do it because she's always done the same for me and it was nice to return the favor.

Then I saw a woman named marlee and she knew Jazmyn and said she was a traitor and I told her Jazmyn was nice, Marlee turned out to be Devlyn's daughter and so I treid to get along with her til she went to bed. Then I went down to see what Willow was doing and she was grouchy as ever, said I'm not her friend cuz I always thwart her. I think I'm, going to make something for her as a gift to make up with her.

I got called back to the castle by Jazmyn and hurried to her because she said she had a surprise. It really was a surprise! After knowing her and Dev only a few days they decided they wanted to adopt me. I was so stunned and happy and of course I said alright because they're really nice.

Jazmyn hugged me and we were really happy and then I told Mes and she got all mad. Tool, a vampire who hangs around, told me she was a vampire now as well. I'd thought she was different ever since she disappeared but I dont know why shes so mean. I think this warrants investigation!

One of those days

I found Ramune Glace* in the tavern today. She was throwing bombs randomly and I did all I could to limit the damage she caused. She said she was stronger than anyone but I said that its hwen a person thinks they're above those who are weak that they become evil. I think thats the nature of evil.

Anyhow she wanted to eat some people and I was ready to stop her when the evil Mera appeared and made me st op. I really want to go after her but she could open the portal to the other dimension. Everyone must think I'm such a coward for listening to her...

Today I saw Briteny again after the business in Asgard but she just blew me off for that loudmouth Phoenix. She sucks up to him so bad its terrible to see but he seems to be helping her a bit. Anyhow I zpped Brit and we got in a fight but it stopped before it got serious. I talked to Sylvia while I bandaged a small wound. Then Evil Mera came down and treated me like a dog as usual and I finally snapped and tried to attack her but she beat me and I had to beg her not to kill the regular Mera. I dont know whats going to happen with her but it aint good...

Weeee!

I just returned to Dragonshire from a fight in ASsgard. Itw was a really huge battle and I helped defend the queen while the castle was stormed. They blew up the castle and I got hurt and limped home but everyones alive at least.

When I got home Imoen was there and I pounced on her cuz I really missed her and I saw Abigail, the quene's sister as well and she quizzed me about me and Juliette and I was all blushing and stuff and then Imoen had to go and I was sad but I'm still resolved to keep Jules from getting into an arranged marriage.
