Shi and I got along?

I dunno if I mentioned her before but Nanashi is a young cat-changeling who likes to kill me. We fought a lot usually but recently we've been getting along a bit better ever since I chucked her into a fountain when she last tried to eat me.

Not everything went so well though. Briteny, who had been studying the dark arts for a while, finally turned. The darkness awoke in her. We fought and I underestimated her. I tried to go back but Rosa, a gold dragon friend of mine, was there. She held me and made me take a nap. When I woke up I was free to go again.

Briteny was talking to Phoenix and a healer named Alya. I never liked Phoenix. Always too interested in thinking things out and giving people chances and succoring evil and such. Well naturally he was buying into the demon within Briteny and he interfered but I got past him.

Alya and I excorsised what was in Briteny but she still holds the form of a demon. I took Alya home to rest after meeding a very old and interesting mage. Sabe was around to say goodbye. I'm really worried he'll get hurt in Kielder and tried to tell him so, but he hates things so far south.

We talked in the gardens before he left. He said the stars here were new and he couldnt read them. I said they weren't new, men have looked on them for ages. He said that wasn't true, and that they were strange so far away from his homeland. I felt bad for him and joked that he should take up astrology and stop being a warrior. A while later I saw his ship leaving and waved. I hope I will see him again.
