The Diary of the Green Wizard

I really hope noone ever finds this.

Well I decided today that I should start writing a diary of some nature. And even though today wasn't the most interesting day I've ever had it still wasn't half bad. Athena didn't torment me terribly much, nor did either of my parents, and I didn't get into any big fights or cause too much trouble. Well, ok, I caused a little trouble. Here's what happened.

I started out the day bugging Nic and following her around. I usually hang around her like I'm protecting her or something but really it's more like I just like talking to her. She's really great company and it's impossible to explain why, she just makes me feel better about myself no matter what. So after a while she went inside and I went down to the river and bothered Sol. As I suspected she wasn't always a demon. Maybe I could turn her good again... Then again last time I did that it turned out bad.

Well regardless I also ran into a rather ill mannered manticore and a very nice elf woman. I was kind of embarassed cuz I forgot my elven name for a second. I prefer to go by Calenier among the elves and as Andrew among men. Of course the dwarves have a name for me as well which I forget now and in some realms I'm called Adurin. It really does get confusing sometimes!
Well I led the elven woman to a place where she could camp and then got bored so I finally put my plan into action to go and visit the planes of time. I had decided earlier that I could find Ariel there and of course I did. The funny thing was it took me nearly a year. If I wasn't immortal now I'd be bothered to have wasted so much time wondering around. Luckily time flows differently in that plane so it was only about an hour outside. When I finally found her we were both really happy and there were hugs and all that mushy stuff. She's still exactly as I remember her back when her parents left and I was named her guardian. Come to think of it I forgot who bestowed that title on me. I think it was her father but not certain. No matter, back to the story.
So Siegfred had asked me to convey a message to Ariel and naturally I did so. He's a good guy even if he won't be as long lived as she is I still think they'll be happy together. So after making sure Velrik and Imoen and their other kids were ok I looked around to make sure noone noticed and dragged Ari through a portal to where Sieg was in the forest. Heh, dragged, more like tried not to get in her way. Normally I'd have wanted to talk to Ariel for a while I'd have wanted to sit with her and talk about all we'd done and make all sorts of plans but I guess sometimes one has to let go. It's probably a lot more difficult for Velrik and Imoen than it is for me. I always tried to take care of her but never in the manner of a parent. Man, me with kids, that's a weird thought.
So I left her and Sieg in the woods and used a bit of magic to ensure they wouldn't be disturbed. That done I went and talked to Shar and Sabe for a while. Sabe is still terribly interested in getting shiney new weapons (Typical fighter! Bah!) and I'm thinking of taking him on a trip to Moria to show him just where such lust for glittering things can get people (or dwarves rather).
It occured to me that the alternate version of Mesunokitsune had been kidnapped so I decided we should go rescue her and Shar offered to come along. When we got there it was a horrible place where familiars were tortured and trained to obey their mage masters. Phoenix had gone on ahead of us without being noticed and we found him already helping Mes. I wanted to bust the place up but of course everyone had to go and drag me away. So we got her back to safety and I promised to come back with hellfire and brimstone and poking people with sticks and such.
After a while I got bored so I decided to start work on the plans for Velrik and Imoen's treehouse part 2. I went back to the temporal plane but Velrik was off training the twins so I talked to Imoen. I still can't resist teasing her so I asked her if I should set aside a room for Siegfred or if him and Ariel will share the same one. Luckily she didn't decide to beat me up. We talked about all sorts of stuff and as best I can tell I'm going to end up building her some kind of palace because she wants a fourteen room treehouse. I decided to make Ariel's room special with a trap door and a few good hiding spots. It's really the least I can do for her.
Imoen and I were talking about the twins and she said that they actually knew how to obey their elders unlike Ariel and I, who would never listen to anyone. Well I'm glad someone finally gets it! Ariel and me are kindred spirits, we don't have to do what anyone says and we don't hurt anybody (least not unless they deserve it) I think its why she and I get along so well and of course I might have something to do with how willfull she is but if I do I'd just take it as evidence that I had a good part in raising her and did a great job. Of course Velrik and Imoen feel differently heheh.
After the plans were finallised for the No'Dolan mansion and Imoen mussed up my hair, which everyone who knows me always does and I think I'd miss it if they stopped, though I don't know how they always get around my hat. Everybody still treats me like I'm a kid and I kinda got over it since noone bothers trying to tell me what to do anymore so the occasional hair messing up isn't such a big deal, unless it was somebody I really didn't like, then I'd turn them into a lizard.
I went back home and ran into my old fae friend Phoebus and we chatted about old times into the wee hours of the night. I really missed him a lot and I felt great to see him again and Sol was there as well and she seemed as playful as ver (probably because she's a succubus) anyhow the party finally broke up and I went upstairs to study some old texts about the lost continent of Mystara. Fascinating stuff really. Well, gnight!
